Daily Routine

We are unable to take responsibility for children on the school premises before 8:40am except for those children attending the Breakfast Club (7.45 – 8.40 am).   It is very important that children do not play on the play equipment before or after school as there is no supervision at these times. Thank you for your co-operation.

Breakfast Club
Our breakfast club is open from 7:45 until the start of school and is open to all ages. The cost is £2.50 per day per child which includes breakfast and fun activities. Children from Reception to Year 6 are welcome to use this facility on a regular, temporary or a one-off basis.

  • 8.30 School gates open
  • 8:40 Doors open for the children
  • 8:50 Registration for all children (all children in by this time)
  • 10:55 – 11:10 Morning break
  • 12:00 Lunch starts (Reception)
  • 12.10 Lunch starts (Year 1 and 2)

We have a new chef this year and the food is brilliant! The children are encouraged to make healthy choices and there is always a fabulous selection on the menu every day including a vegetarian option, jacket potato with a variety of fillings and a healthy salad bar.

ALL children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 can eat Lunch for free – this is highly recommended due to the quality and nutritional value of the meals we give to the children.

Parents/Carers, Grandparents and other visitors are very welcome to eat with us and enjoy the lovely family atmosphere and high quality food. Please pay at the front office on arrival.

Currently our meals cost £2.00 for children in Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 and £2.50 for adult visitors.

Birthday tables cost £15 for a table of eight children (plus £2.00 for every child in Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6). This includes decorations, birthday cake, a small birthday present and lots of party atmosphere!

Afternoon and after school care

We offer a range of clubs for children to learn beyond the curriculum. Most of these are free, though some are provided by external organizations that charge on a termly or half-termly basis. We also have a very good relationship with Mighty Oaks, the afterschool childcare service located in the building adjacent to the school which caters for children aged 2 to 11 from 3:15 – 6:00pm. Please contact Sally Gedny for further information (07982 238658).
