Recently we did our cycling proficiency and
everyone passed for the first time ever.
Football
There is girl’s football and boys football
(separately)
By Mr Fleming. And the year 6 have football for
games on the field every week.
Netball
All the year 6 have Netball with our teacher Miss
Clarke and Mrs Tabrum. We have proper Netball nets which are very high but it is great fun.
The positions are: centre, goal defence, goal attack, goal shooter, goalkeeper, wing
attack, wing defence and a referee.
Cricket
In Year 5 we did cricket when I heard we were
doing cricket I thought I have never played cricket before but it was great fun we all had
ago at bowling, hitting the ball and running.
Long Ball
When we couldn’t play games outside because
of the weather we went in the hall and played long ball. It is when you have a person on
your team goes to the other teams side stands on the bench and you try and throw the ball
to the person on the bench. But if someone on the other team touches the ball and your
catcher catches it, it isn’t a goal.
