It is with much regret that I have to inform you that Claire White (Year 3/4 teacher and leader of PE within the school) will be leaving at Christmas.
Ms White commenced her teaching as a Newly Qualified Teacher over five years ago with us at Bar Hill School. She was an outstanding teacher from the very start of her teaching career and the children she has taught have always been her first priority. So many children have benefitted from Ms White’s teaching and she will be greatly missed by us all.
In addition to her outstanding teaching, she has been an exceptional subject leader of Physical Education, in particular, her dedication to the cross country competition, football matches and extra curricular activities.
As headteacher, I cannot thank Ms White enough for her tremendous dedication to giving her children ‘the best’ education possible and on behalf of the children, staff and governors I wish Ms White every happiness in the future.
Bar Hill Footpath and Non-Uniform Day
On the last day of term, Friday, 21st December we will be holding a non-uniform day in support of Footpath (raising money for the parks of Bar Hill). The children have been designing their own park as part of this term’s Discovery Detective.
It will be 50p if your child wishes to be non-uniform. Please support this very worthwhile fundraising endeavour to help your children enjoy their leisure time in Bar Hill. For further information, please contact Sharon Harrower on 07967-610-482.
School Trips and Dinner Money
School dinners need to be paid by this Wednesday at the latest. Please bring all money to your child’s class teacher not the office.
No Nuts in Packed Lunches
Just a reminder that we do not allow nuts in the school as some children have nut allergies. This includes cereal bars which may have nuts in them.
