Dear Parents/Guardians

Class Photos
Just a reminder that class photo orders need to be handed in by Wednesday morning at the very latest, as Tempest are collecting the orders at lunchtime.

Year 6 Leavers Group Photo
The year 6 leavers group photo is on display in the two Year 6 classrooms and by the School Office.  The photo costs £9 and can be purchased from the School Office.  You will also be able to purchase the photo on the Open Evening and at the Year 6 leavers assembly

Breakfast Club
The Breakfast Club is open every morning from 7.45am in the school hall at a cost of £2.50 per day. The children can have a variety of cereal, toast with various toppings and a ‘dippy egg’ with soldiers on request!    Once they have eaten, there are various games and activities for the children to do before school starts.  You can book your child in at the school office or just turn up on the morning if you have an emergency or need to get to work a bit earlier.

Anyone for Tennis!
As we are entering Wimbledon Fortnight, over the next two weeks Kevin will be doing a daily draw for children who have a school lunch to win various tennis ‘goodies’.

Indulgence Evening – Tonight!
It’s not too late to come to tonight’s pampering evening at the school.  Doors open at 7.00pm.  You can pay £2.00 entry and enjoy a range of shopping opportunities and a bar.  Though some treatments are fully booked, some may still have slots available.  Treat yourself to a relaxing evening out.

Summer Concerts
The dates for the summer concerts are:

  • Reception – Thursday, 9th July, 2.00pm in the school hall

Sun Hats/Sun Cream
As you are aware we do not have a great deal of shade on the playground and as the warmer weather approaches, I would be grateful if you could ensure your child has a sunhat to wear outside. Also as we are unable to apply sun cream to the children, again I would appreciate if this could be done before your child comes to school.

In the summer term, it is also important that all children come to school dressed appropriately. We do have a summer uniform and a dress code which can be accessed on the website. (School brochure) or from the school office.

Yours sincerely

The dates for the summer concerts are:

Before and After School Reminders
Just a quick reminder of the following health and safety matters:  Please could you ask your children not to:

  • Climb on the play equipment before or after school
  • Ride bikes or scooters within the school boundaries
  • Not to kick balls on the playground

This is for everyone’s safety.  Thank you for your cooperation

The Eco Team have been developing the wooded area outside the middles’ classrooms.  It is a wonderful quiet space for small groups with a couple of adults, but really is not appropriate for children to be playing in.  The ground is uneven and there are lots of stinging nettles.  For the safety of your children, this area is out of bounds unless accompanied by a member of staff.

Indulgence Evening
Do you fancy a bit of fun, shopping and pure pampering?  Then come along to our Indulgence Evening here at the school on Friday, 19th June from 7.00pm to 10.00pm.

The cost is £7.00 and includes a glass of wine on arrival (or soft drink) and one treatment .  Tickets available from the school office or a member of the PTA.

Best wishes
