School Open Evening
It was good to see so many of you on Tuesday night for our open evening. I am sure that you appreciated the children’s wonderful art work and it was a lovely end of the year celebration of all the children have accomplished.
Art Exhibition
The last day to collect your child’s pictures will be this Monday, 12th July. Come to the office to purchase. The cost of the picture is £7.00 (second picture £6.00).
Tuck Shop
This is now finished until September. Thank you all for your support over the past year. A big thank you to Mrs Bacon who runs the tuck shop with our citizens.

School Meals
If you have any outstanding dinner money, it is imperative that you pay by Monday, 19th July in order to give Mrs Lewney time to close down this year’s dinner figures.
From September school meals will increase by 5p to £2.00. Unfortunately due to the increased cost of food we have had to make the extra 5p charge. However, I am sure you know what excellent value they are and the cost is still in line with schools in Cambridgeshire who use the County Catering Service.
Change Over Afternoon
This Monday, 12th July, the children will be going up to their new class in the afternoon and to meet their new teacher. This is an important afternoon for them and the staff look forward to welcoming and getting to know their new children.
School Gate
It would be much appreciated if you made sure your children do not play with the keypad on the back gate or climb on the back gate/fence. This has been reported to me on several occasions and has caused problems for our office staff.
This gate is not in use after 3.15pm.
Non-Uniform Day – Last Day Of Term
The last day of term, Thursday, 22nd July will be a non-uniform day. Children can come non-uniform for 50p. This can be given to the class teacher and the money will go towards a charity.
First Day Of The Autumn Term
The first day of the autumn term for the children is Monday, 6th September. From the 1st September the school office will be back at the front of the school.
There will be a final newsletter on the last day of term.
Yours sincerely
Lin Whyte
Headteacher
