Tesco Vouchers
Thank you for all the vouchers you have collected for us so far. Also, please thank your family, friends and neighbours who have also collected for us.
Tesco finish giving out vouchers this Sunday, 9th May. Please may we have all your vouchers in as soon as possible as we have to have them posted to them no later than Friday, 2nd July. Tesco will not accept any vouchers after the deadline of 2nd July.
If you can bundle them up in packs of 100 with a rubber band, the office would be most appreciative!
Sainsbury Vouchers and Flora Cooking with Schools
Many thanks for all the vouchers we have been receiving. Please continue to encourage friends and families to collect vouchers for us.
Bikeability Scheme
We will be having another 20 bicycle racks installed soon on the infant playground thanks to the bikeability scheme which is good news. We will report on progress in our newsletters. Watch this space
SATs Week
Year 6 SATs commence this Monday, 10th May. Year 2 SATs will be throughout the month of May.
Due to Year 6 SATs next week there will be no Tuck Shop this Wednesday, 12th May. Tuck Shop will resume the following Wed, 19th May.
Walk To School Week
This commences on Monday, 17th May. We are so fortunate in Bar Hill to be able to walk to school! Please support this initiative and walk with your child to school rather than drive down in your car. Bar Hill is one of the few villages when you can do this, so please support us in this campaign. Thank you.
East Anglian Air Ambulance
We will be fundraising for this very worthwhile charity during the summer term. They will be coming in to speak to the children at a special assembly on Tuesday, 29th June.
In the meantime, we can raise funds by collecting old mobile phones and old foreign notes and foreign coins (old and new – including pre-euro coins). Please send any of these to the school office. Many thanks.
Cross Country T-Shirts
Does your child still have a green cross country t-shirt at home? If yes, please could they be returned to the office as soon as possible.
School Vegetable Plot
Do you have any vegetable plants that you are willing to donate to the school vegetable plot? We would be thrilled to receive any spare you might have. Either bring them to the school office or call the office and we can collect them from you.
PTA News
If you are ordering plants from the PTA, please send your order and payment to the office by this Monday, 9th May.
The PTA are doing a fantastic job of fundraising for our school so that our children can enjoy privileges and treats such as visiting authors, the space dome and live theatre.
I am extremely grateful to the PTA for their magnificent help and support.
