2nd Anniversary Of Ratatouille Restaurant
On Wednesday, 22nd April we will be celebrating the 2nd anniversary of our school meals (see menu on the back). To celebrate this occasion and the fantastic success of our healthy school meals, we are offering school meals for just £1.00 on that Wednesday. Thank you all for your continuing support. We continue to provide well over half of our pupils with school meals. Look out for the summer menu. Kevin is planning some surprises. A huge thank you to Kevin and all his staff.
Science Week – Monday, 18th to Friday, 22nd May
Calling all scientists! Are there any parents or grandparents out there who would be willing to come in during science week to talk to the children about their speciality? Please contact the school office if you can help
Sponsored Spell
Many thanks to all the children who worked so hard learning all their words for the sponsored spell. Please could we have all sponsor money in sometime during the first week back (Monday, 20th to Friday 24th April).
Tesco and Sainsbury Vouchers

If your child still has their cross country t-shirt, please could it be returned after the Easter holidays with your child’s name on it so we can keep record of who has returned one.
Hungary/Germany Comenius/Esperanto Exchange Visit To The School
On Friday, 24th April we will be welcoming groups of children from Herzberg, Germany and Miskolc, Hungary to the school. Our host families are looking forward to an exciting five days with their guests including a trip to Spy Masters and a day in London.
We are still short of one or two host families, so if you are interested, please contact our Esperanto teacher, Tim Morley, on 01954-715647 or email him at: tim@springboard2languages.org.
Summer Sports Day
The sports days will take place on the school playing field starting at 1.30pm on the following dates:
- Reception, Years 1 & 2 Thursday, 25th June
- Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 Wednesday, 1st July
Finally, I hope you all have a very enjoyable Easter Break and we look forward to seeing all the children again on Monday, 20th April.
