Dear Parents/Carers

Christmas Hampers & Christmas Colouring Competition
Raffle tickets for the hampers are available from the school  office.  Cost is £1.00 per strip.

Colouring sheets are also available from the school office at 50p per sheet.

Plant Delivery
If you ordered one of the Christmas plant bowls, they will be delivered to the school on Thursday, 11th December.  Please collect at the end of the school day.

Presents For Teachers/Oxfam Send A Camel Collection
Over the past three years we have talked to the children about those less fortunate than themselves at Christmas. The teachers have said that instead of presents to them, they encourage the children to make a   small donation to Oxfam’s Christmas Appeal,  if you would prefer to do this.

Cheques should be made out to ‘Oxfam’ and sent in an envelope marked ‘Oxfam’s Send A Camel’.

Also, many thanks to all those who brought in shoeboxes for Operation Christmas child.

Reminder
Please ensure that no photographs are taken during your child’s Christmas performance.  There will be opportunities for photos after the concert.

Videos can be taken during the performance but parents must stand on the left hand side of the church only.  Reception parents will need to stand at the back of the school hall, but be aware that the children will need to be able to walk up the sides of the hall and along the back.

Parents will need to sign a permission form from the school office in order to video.

End of Term Disco
This will be held on Friday, 19th December.  Tickets are now available from the school office and cost £2.00.

Drop & Shop Fun Day
On Monday 22nd December, Premier Sport will be running a special Christmas sports fun day at the school.  This day is open to children of all school years and will run from 9am until 3pm,  There will be skill sessions, quizzes and competitions based inside and outside, and the children will have a taster of sports such as football, athletics, hockey, tennis and basketball.

The cost for the day will be £12.50 (a percentage of this will go to the school).  So, if you have last minute Christmas Shopping to do why not take advantage of this opportunity.  Children will need a packed lunch and to be dressed appropriately for the weather.  Forms will be sent home early next week.

Christmas Cards
The red Christmas posting box is now in the school foyer.  Can we remind you to make sure that every card has the friend’s first name, surname and what class they are in.  If this information is not one the card, it may have to be thrown out.

Reminders
Children are not to come via the school office in the mornings.  They are to go to their classrooms via the appropriate outside class door.

Also, just a reminder that no pushchairs are allowed beyond the school foyer.

Camhill’s Café
We will be having a Christmas fayre on Wednesday, 17th December in the school hall at 3.10pm.  All Welcome.

We would appreciate cakes, biscuits etc on the day.  Please bring them to the school office.  We are also hoping to sell any second hand toys or book.  Please bring these over the next week to the school office if you have any to donate.

Best wishes
