Dear Parents/Guardians

Just a few messages:

1. Bicycles - A note for those children who lock their bikes to the astro turf fence - please could you ensure that Year 6 children lock their bikes in the school grounds near or in the bike sheds as we are receiving reports of bikes being tampered with.

2. Parent Drop In - These sessions continue in the community lounge/library on Friday mornings from 8.45am to 10.00am.  It is a chance to meet other parents and to talk in a relaxed atmosphere.  Stay for as little or as long as you like.  Younger children are invited and drinks and biscuits are available.

3. Camill’s Sunshine Cafe - This is proving to be a great success and I am very proud of my young citizens who organise this!  Many thanks to all of you who came and supported it last time.

The next cafe is on Wednesday, 12th March at 3.15 - 4.15pm.  This is also Discovery Detective Day so please drop in for tea, coffee and home made cake in the studio after your visit to your child’s classroom to see their Discovery Detective work.

In the meantime, if you have any unwanted toys, books or gifts, we would be grateful if you could donate them to our citizen cafe at school.

4. Pop Quiz - This will be held next Saturday, 15th March, at 7.30pm.  Entry forms must be handed in to the school office by Wednesday, 12th March so that food can be ordered.

5. Book Fayre - Just a reminder that this will be held from Thursday, 13th March through to Tuesday, 18th March. Books will be on sale from 3.15 - 4pm during this time.

6. Finally, disco and raffle tickets for the Easter hampers will be on sale outside the school office in the morning from 8.45am to 9.10am and from 3.10 - 3.30pm.  The raffle will be drawn on the last day of term and winners will be notified that day.

Yours sincerely

Lin Whyte
