Dear Parents/Guardians

11 Million Take Over Day!
This morning, my role as headteacher, was taken over by Hannah Walker, who became the headteacher of Bar Hill School for the morning.  Bethany McMillan became her deputy headteacher.  Eighteen of our Year 6 pupils participated in the bid to become a headteacher for the morning and also to win a IPod Nano!

The children all had to write 111 words on how they would improve the school if they were headteacher and I was very impressed with all their entries.  However, there could only be one headteacher and the judges from the Eastern Leadership Centre, plus two school governors, voted Hannah as the winner.

My congratulations to Hannah and Bethany to the other sixteen participants who all received a copy of ‘The Demon Headmaster’ and a certificate.

I look forward to seeing Hannah and Bethany in a  leadership position in 20 years time!
