ABC Group
The ‘ABC’ or Anti – bullying Council was set up in 1999. We aim to help children at Bar Hill school feel happier. We operate a ‘No Blame’ policy and try to ensure that everybody involved in any bullying incident is listened to. We have been so good at this in the past that we were asked to show other schools how we operate. We hope to maintain this high standard through another year. The ABC group at Bar Hill all have special identity cards so that if you have a problem you know who to turn to.
The current ABC group consist of 2 boys and 2 girls from years 5 and 6. They are:
Jack Wilkin, Christopher Gordon, Asuka McRobbie, Maria Koj
Jenny Forrest, Beth Tompkins, Ryan Sheriden and James Lunn
We have our own blog below, and it can be accessed directly via the ABC Group link under news to the right.

Beat Bullying with ABC
by Claire Higgins – ABC Leader
Bar Hill Primary School has had an anti-bullying council since 1999. We work to try and promote empowerment and resilience. The council’s goal is to ensure that every child at Bar Hill leads a happy school life. A goal that is also reflected in our charter of rights, ‘Every child has the right to be happy’.
